The NDIS covers a wide range of services, including but not limited to therapy, personal care, assistive technology, home modifications, and respite care. The NDIS encompasses a diverse array of services, including, but not limited to, therapy, personal care, assistive technology, respite care and home modifications.
To qualify for NDIS services, eligibility criteria are determined by factors including age, residency status, disability, and the extent to which your disability affects your daily life. There are three fundamental eligibility conditions:
- You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a special category visa.
- Your age should fall within the range of 7 to 65 years.
- You must have a substantial disability that necessitates support for your daily activities.
Certainly, within the NDIS framework, you have the freedom to exercise choice and control over your service providers. You are empowered to select the providers you prefer and collaborate with them to create a personalised plan tailored to your needs.
